Adaptive Equipment Training
Our training can help compensate for physical changes and loss of functionA variety of tools are available that enable individuals to complete daily tasks despite an injury or disability. Adaptive Equipment can be utilized to help compensate for an individual’s physical changes or functional loss, or simply to make tasks safer and more comfortable.
Although many businesses sell adaptive equipment, often it requires custom modification(s). People who need such equipment should have a thorough assessment by an occupational therapist to ensure that the right equipment is selected. In addition, the therapist can help make sure that the equipment is properly installed and can provide training on using the equipment.

“Karen is very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. She has years of experience and shares techniques and knowledge to help. My therapy was great and I now have hand mobility information that will serve me the rest of my life.”
