Therapy works to reduce pain and optimize range of motion and strength

Lower extremity therapy consists of treatment customized to the client’s individual needs to reduce pain, optimize range of motion and strength, and ensure safe functional mobility. Supportive exercise programs are custom designed for each client which are compatible with the manual techniques utilized to restore normal function. Each client is educated on an individualized, progressive home exercise program to supplement and maximize each client’s functional potential.

The lower extremity conditions we treat include:

  • Fractures
  • Sprains & strains of the hip, knee and ankle
  • Tendonitis
  • Sciatica
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Overuse Injuries
  • Post-operative conditions – e.g. knee and hip joint replacement
  • Wound care and scar management
