Pediatric Therapy
Meeting the needs of children and adolescents experiencing challenges in development and functional performance. At Pioneer Therapy Center we collaborate with parents, caregivers and other professionals in order to identify and meet the needs of children and adolescents experiencing challenges in development and functional performance. We teach and model skills and strategies to children, their families and other adults in their environments to extend therapeutic intervention to all aspects of daily life tasks.
Pediatric occupational therapy interventions may include adapting activities, materials and environmental conditions so the child can participate and maximize independence under different conditions and in a variety of settings including home, school, and the community. Pediatric clients are screened to ensure that Pioneer Therapy Center is the best match for the family.
Areas of occupational intervention addressed:
- Developmental delay
- Autism
- Sensory processing
- Behavior management
- Self-regulation
- Orthopedic conditions

“What I like about Pioneer Therapy Center is that they have a great staff, and they are able to help people with all types of issues, and have good exercises to help with rehabilitation. My two children are achieving goals with their legs and feet. Their goals that they are reaching are to be pain free walking and running. The staff have creative ways to encourage them to work on their exercises, and take great care to heal them.”
